This & That

We've been kind of busy these last few weeks, but also haven't had too much excitement.

Paul started fall soccer with the YMCA a week ago. He had his first game this past Saturday. Needless to say that competitive spirit is not quite there yet. We spent a lot of time tugging on our over sized team shirt and observing the game instead of actually participating in it. What more can you expect from a nearly 5 year old boy. Now I'm sure if Porter & Peyton were on the
other team, he would be all over getting that ball and scoring a goal.

I celebrated my birthday with the boys on Monday. Daddy even taught them about birthday spankings & that it's okay to do it only if it's my birthday. And for the first time in a long time, Herman was able to take me out the evening of my Birthday. Thank you Hurricane Ike for dumping over 5 inches of rain - the fields are too wet to start harvesting. As of today, Herman still hasn't started yet - it should be interesting to see when harvest wraps up this year.

well thank you IKE!!!! I remember that you could never do anything with the hubby on that day cause of the harvest. hope you ahd a great time . I love looking at the boys pictures and see ing how things are going. i remember soccer as well, the either want to do it or they could care less, no inbetween it seems. mine were more interested in what was going on in the sidelines than on the field, or chasing a frog or bird instead of the game. it is fun though . love ya, cheryl B
