Names

We sometimes wonder now what we were thinking naming all of the boys with P names. When in the heat of the moment (and sometimes even not), when I'm needing to call out one of their names, I inevitibly call out the wrong one. I've been told that no matter what you name your children, as long as there is more than one, you will shout out the wrong name. Anyway, here are some of the nicknames we (as well as others) have come up with.


Paul -aka Mister, PC, Stinky Pete, Red, Number 1 Son, Clouse, Mr. Stubborn


Peyton - aka Peyty, PJ, Peanut, Lucipher (or Satan), Marky Joe, little Joey, little Flirt, Heinrich


Porter - aka Porter House, PW, Chunk, Satan (or Lucipher), Mr. Suck Up, little Schmoozer, Freidrich

Now, we don't call the twins Satan or Lucipher to their face - Herman will sometimes reference to them in that way when talking to others depending on how the day went with them. The twins are also sometimes referred to as the "Twinkies" by one of their God parents.

It is amazing how the names suit them, especially the twins since our logic in naming them wasn't after seeing them, but that the first one that was delivered would be Porter & the second Peyton - and the names fit. These pictures were actually taken a year ago, so the twins are 2 and Paul 3 1/2.
