"That's what you get with boys"

Back when Porter was about 18 months old, his brother Paul (who was 3 at the time) pushed him down a little too hard & Porter tried to catch himself. It resulted in a fractured elbow & Porter got to sport his first cast for 4 weeks. Well, 3 years later, Peyton has a rock lodged in his ear with a little help from Porter. Porter poured rocks over Peyton's head this past Friday & one fell in his ear & Peyton tried to get it out. Unfortunately, he shoved it in deeper. We've seen an ER Doc & today to ENT specialists who were unable to remove it. So, tomorrow they will place Peyton under general anesthesia for about 5 - 10 minutes to get out it so the poor guy won't feel it. He's bringing his Batman action figure with him.

It's amazing how many people have told me "that's what you get with boys" or "boys will be boys". It's a boy thing & sometimes a girl thing. I'm just waiting to see what Peyton might do to Paul in the next few years, because it's probably his turn.
