We spent Christmas Eve with Herman's side of the family. The boys love going to Grandma & Grandpa's this time of year because Grandma has about 10 Animated, musical, Christmas toys (you know, like the one's you get at Hallmark). They set them all off at once & kept doing it the rest of the night. And there were lots of presents under the tree, which they had fun passing out.
Peyton, Porter, Paul & Grandpa

The big hit for the night was a tobogan that Uncle Eric gave them. I don't think Uncle Eric was expecting that. They all got in it & had Uncle Eric pull them real fast for a short distance. I tried to get Eric to sit on the sled & have the boys pull so I could get a picture, but he wasn't game. Instead I got this one with Uncle Eric.

Paul, Peyton & Porter

Of course the boys opened their gifts from Santa Christmas morning which consisted of a lot of John Deere & Thomas the Train stuff. We then did my side of the family at my brothers house & had a wonderful time over there. Their Aunt Cheryl, Uncle Rick & cousin Forrest were up from Georgia, so we had a nice visit with them as well. My sister Debbie & her family could not make it down from Wisconsin due to the weather & they were missed. Hopefully we will see them next week (weather permitting).
Speaking of weather - a week ago we had wind chills of -20/freezing rain and today it got up to 66 & we were under a tornado & flood watch. What the heck! We did have one major storm hit today that knocked down power lines, towers and did some structural damage in places. It's been a crazy month weather wise.
