I still can't believe that Paul is 5 (one of my reasons for having a hard time dealing with time flying by). I'm also noticing how much more of a young man Paul is & that too soon, that childlike innocence will be gone. We've already seen glimpses of it slipping, but his teacher gave me something to keep. The previous week his teacher at daycare left me a note, with a dandelion stem taped to it, about a conversation they had. Paul had picked up a dandelion that had seeded, she told him to make a wish & blow it. Mrs. Barbara asked him what he wished for and he said a tractor. She then took the dandelion and blew on it. Paul asked her what she wished for and she said a tractor for Paul. He just laughed & giggled & felt special. The teacher said she really hoped that he would get a tractor for Christmas. I think he will.
Coming soon (hopefully), a post from Herman about farming.
