Today was the last day that the boys were with their current daycare provider - Lonna. Lonna is changing careers & going to State Farm which is wonderful (and also makes it the 2nd daycare provider that Paul has seen go to State Farm - hmmmm, I see a pattern). The Twins have been with her since they were 10 months, so it will be a major adjustment for them.
The boys will start at Christian Childcare on Monday, so mornings next week are going to be rough with this major change. After taking them for their physicals today, we stopped by the new daycare so that the boys could check it out. I was introducing the boys to the Assistant Director and Porter told her "I Trouble" and he was proud of it. I had been teasing Porter about a month ago how his middle name is trouble and he will now and then tell people "I Porter Trouble". So, Porter pretty much gave her a heads up of whats to come.
Porter is very particular about names now. I can not call him sweety, chunk, Mr. Suck-up or any of the other nicknames we have for him. He will correct you in a hearbeat "No, I Porter". I was asking Herman a question last night & began it with "Dear" and was shouted at that "his name not Dear, it Daddy!". Oh, we try to hide our laughter, but sometimes it's hard.
