Identical Twins?

We ventured out this past week to some graduation parties and encountered people that we hadn't met before or people who had not seen the boys in quite sometime. One of the usual questions we are asked is "are they identical?" The answer to that is Yes. We were told early on in the pregnancy that they were "monozygotic ". Tests were ran after the delivery to confirm it. In the picture above the boys were 4 months old. Peyton on the left & Porter on the right. You will find that is how I have them pose 99% of the time when taking pictures. Porter has always weighed at least a pound more than Peyton (now even more). So, there has always been a physical difference between them. Peyton also has the most unruley hair compared to Porter -Peyton has a natural mohawk. The picture below was taken a year ago.

The older they get, the more physical differences you can see. They've always had different personality's (more on that on a later post). They do enjoy each other though. They honestly get along quite well & I hope that will continue always. In fact, I am sad that Dancing with the Stars is over this season. The boys would try to imitate the couples dancing. I should have video taped them, but they always stop what they are doing when they see the camera & want to look through the camera themselves.
